About CPR-Community Public Relations
Jodi Powers and Annie Loyd worked together to promote the Phoenix Mercury. Jodi wrote about the Mercury during their first two seasons and Annie worked to build their fan base with her network. The dynamic duo were on the board of directors for the Phoenix Women’s Sports Association for many years: Annie was the vice president and Jodi was the Awards and PR Chair for five years. They have survived working in state and national politics and are the founders, creators and developers of One Planet magazine, an all-volunteer publication that addressed the 12 sectors of society and how they relate to one another.
Jodi Powers and Annie Loyd combined their talents and energies to start CPR. Annie has developed a large network through her work with so many organizations in the Valley, the US and beyond, and few can match Jodi’s work ethic.
In today’s world, you have to go deeper than a logo or a well-produced piece, you have to go beyond being skin deep. When you peel back our skin at CPR-Community Public Relations and open our windows and doors, what emerges is a vast array of relationship building. Building relationships isn’t just about strategically identifying people you are involved with in a project, building relationships happens over years, over decades.
It’s about articulating dreams, and activating visions.
We know it because we bring more than 50 years of marketing experience and developing relationships.
Jodi Powers has immense experience as a media and marketing expert. Her background includes working as a newspaper editor and working as a national communications manager for a large corporation.
